I finally got around to building a place to write. No newsletter platform, no walled garden — just a small, fast site I fully control.
Why bother
A few reasons I keep coming back to:
- Writing is thinking. I understand an idea best after I’ve had to explain it.
- Compounding. A post written once can be read a thousand times.
- Owning the work. Links don’t rot when the platform pivots.
What you’ll find here
Notes on what I’m building, things I’m learning, and the occasional longer essay when an idea earns it. Some posts will be polished; plenty won’t be. That’s the point.
The best time to start writing was years ago. The second best time is now.
